Fire Response & Recovery Support

In the aftermath of the CZU Lightning Complex Fire, through our unique position as co-management partner with State Parks, we established the Friends Fire Fund. People from around the globe responded with incredible generosity to address the devastation of our beloved state parks and those who work in them. Thank you. We are deeply moved and appreciative of all this support.

The Fire Fund provides direct support to Big Basin Redwoods State Park, financially supporting projects that aid in the recovery and reopening of this park and other parks impacted by the fire. Gifts to the Fire Fund have also supported staff members from Friends and California State Parks affected by the fire and the long-term recovery work at state parks. Learn more.
